I never wanted my dad to go into a home as I felt I was letting him down, and I wanted to be able to look after him, but he was very isolated and alone after my mum passed away. Health reasons forced us to look for alternative help to keep my dad safe but also to have a life after losing Mum - then we found these wonderful people who are team Les Houmets. They treat my dad so well and give him more independence than I ever could, but not only do they look after Dad, but everyone is there for us as a family - no words could ever express the love and gratitude that we all feel for everyone at Les Houmets. I feel at home and in my own home. I am treated with kindness and respect. The chefs go out of their way to cater for all our tastes. The cleaners are wonderful and work so hard. Our washing gets done to perfection. The managers and carers are outstanding. I love my garden room. The way my family and guests are welcomed is humbling. Thank you. Margaret P

Set in the heart of Gorey Village, Les Hoûmets has been operated by the Amy family for more than 30 years. Fabien now leads the home and is actively involved in day-to-day runnings of the Home.

Housed in a beautiful traditional building, Les Hoûmets has been fully modernised and equipped to the highest standards. We never compromise on quality and continually strive to provide exceptional accommodation and the highest levels of professional care.

Our experienced and qualified team deliver bespoke care packages tailored to each resident’s needs. Residents enjoy freshly prepared, wholesome meals each day, created by our dedicated chefs using local produce wherever possible. Special diets and meal plans are happily accommodated, and room service is available on request.

We recognise the importance of staying active and engaged, so our activities co-ordinator offers a varied programme of leisure pursuits for everyone to enjoy.

At Les Hoûmets, we provide round-the-clock skilled care, supporting residents from entry level through to high dependency.
